Approximately 5 miles from Taos Plaza and 16 miles to Taos Ski Valley. Just a quick turn off of Blueberry Hill Road and into the driveway. Very convenient with no Taos dirt "off road" adventure; home is right off pavement – a real gem for Taos.
Views:
Big mountains! Sangre de Cristo Mountains and open mesa all in open view. Great for sunsets and sunrises.
Amenities:
Shaded portal with outdoor furniture, 6 person hot tub, gazebo (1 staircase up!), mountain views, privacy fencing and lots of parking space. Inside, two-sided fireplace (living room and master bedroom),ceiling fans throughout, laundry room washer/dryer, iron & ironing board and swamp cooler. Stained glass windows in most rooms. Two Satellite Dish TV's/VCR/DVD/stereo-cassette/CD (exterior speakers to portal and hot tub area – talk about detail!), private phone and wireless internet.
Baths:
Two full (and then some. . .). Master bedroom has Jacuzzi tub/shower and double sink vanity with tile accents. Guest bath has tub/shower and is convenient to 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped with gas stove, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, ice maker (in fridge) and an ample supply of dishes and cookware. Great tile counter tops,dining table with 6 chairs and 3 matching bar stools set at the kitchen counter (and mountain window views-great way to set a table!)
Bedding:
Kings all around. . .3 bedrooms with king sized beds, and one with twin added. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Master with fireplace (beautiful stained glass fire screen), walk-in closet and TV, is at opposite end of house for added privacy. Beautiful Mexican decor headboards, trosteros for clothes/personal items in 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, great accents. The two front bedrooms that face the mountain have "a wall of glass" (glass door and floor to door height windows on each side) to see those great views, with doors into the front courtyard/patio area.
Heating:
Radiant floor heat (central), natural gas on thermostat. Cooling - swamp cooler.
Sq. Ft.:
Approx. 1600 sq. ft. in an open, light and bright floor plan with main entrance to the rear of the home. Central home opens into the living area with fireplace, leather sofa, Entertainment Center- kitchen and dining area. Master bedroom with fireplace/bath is at opposite end of home from other 2 bedrooms/bath. Ceiling vigas and saltillo tile flooring.
Pricing:
$200 to $500 per night, depending on time of year, length of stay and number of guests. Weekly discounts.
